Have you ever seen Vietnam in autumn? If not, you’re in for a treat. 🍁
On this week’s Vietnam travel tip, I’m excited to share with you why autumn (September, October, November) might just be the perfect time for your next adventure in Vietnam. I’ll also show you the best regions to visit during this magical time.
Sapa - Where Autumn Paints the Mountains
IMAGINE THIS: You’re standing in the midst of Sapa’s terraced fields, all turning a rich golden hue as the harvest season begins. The mist gently lifts, revealing a sea of gold and green that stretches as far as the eye can see. It’s like stepping into a dream—a moment you’ll cherish forever.
Hoi An - Lantern, Legends, and Lunar Lights
Hoi An is my absolute favorite spot in Vietnam, especially during autumn. 🏮 As the Mid-Autumn Festival draws near, this ancient town transforms into a magical lantern wonderland, glowing in every color imaginable.
Picture yourself strolling through streets lined with lanterns, their reflections dancing on the river’s surface, capturing the joy and peace of the festival. It’s a truly timeless experience.
Ninh Binh - Nature’s Hidden Gem
Have you ever seen a place so beautiful it feels like a movie set? Well, Ninh Binh actually is! (Kong Skull Island was filmed here!) 🎥. The autumn months here are something special.
Imagine drifting down a serene river, surrounded by towering limestone karsts and lush greenery, with the warm sun casting a golden glow on everything. Every turn brings a new breathtaking vista—this is Ninh Binh, where nature and tranquility meet.
Hanoi - Autumn Charm and Timeless Beauty
And finally, one of my favorite autumn experiences in Vietnam has to be in Hanoi. 🍃 Picture yourself strolling along tree-lined boulevards, leaves crunching underfoot as the scent of freshly brewed coffee fills the air.
The city’s ancient temples and bustling markets take on a whole new charm in the soft autumn light—each corner holds a story, just waiting for you to discover it.
