A new iconic destination in Vietnam - 'The Kiss Bridge'

11 Mar 2024

Peter H,

Founder, Mystical Asia Tours

Sun Group Vietnam has recently introduced the Kiss Bridge in Sunset Town, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. Designed by Italian architect Marco Casamonti, the bridge draws inspiration from classical art and Vietnamese folklore.

With two walkways converging and a 30 cm gap in the middle, visitors can embrace, shake hands, or even kiss. The bridge offers a stunning sunset view every January 1st, becoming one of the world's most scenic spots. This is great news for travellers who are going on a Vietnam tour, as the Kiss Bridge becomes another must-visit destination.

Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Quoc, believes the Kiss Bridge will enhance the island's appeal, much like the Golden Bridge in Danang. Constructed with cantilevers and transparent glass tips, the bridge combines exceptional engineering with a fairytale aesthetic.

Sun Group's other developments in Sunset Bay, including a multimedia art show and night market, aim to transform Phu Quoc into a premier destination year-round.

"We went on a 2 week Vietnam tailor made tour with Mystical Asia. Peter was nothing but helpful. As a couple in our 50s I felt like Peter really understood our struggles and he designed a tour that was not too full on but it was still very enjoyable for us"

Sam

"Tbh I was a bit worried as a friend of mine booked a Vietnam trip with another travel agent and they said the budget hotels were a bit dirty and tour barely included any meals. The husband and I decided to give you guys a go and I wished my friends booked with you instead. The hotels we stayed in were amazing (epsecially La sesta I think in Hanoi) and Binh the tour leader was really helpful. It was a bit pricy but I guess you really get what you pay for. And as you said life is too short for crappy trips lol"

"I've been to Vietnam a few times but wanted to take the girlfriends over so they can explore the country. At first was a bit hard to plan by ourselves since all of us wanted to do different things. The itinerary that Peter designed for us was so flexible and it really had that balance between local experiences for myself and the touristy stuffs for my girlfriends. But overall we had an amazing time. so thank you."
